In the last few years we have seen a dramatic climate change in our world: environment, weather, our lives, everything is affected. How can we help slow down this exponential change? Now more than ever we need a shift in our society and our behaviours if we want to make an impact.
The good news is that UX will play a pivotal role in creating more sustainable behaviors.
With the support of UX principles and examples from the industry, we would like to explore the possibility of finding easy solutions to create sustainable habits that people can start adopting and using on a regular basis.
We propose to hold a workshop that will challenge participants to adapt these principles with the goal of coming up with as many meaningful contributions to this issue as individuals, and as an industry.
How can we help build a better sustainable mindset among our communities?
One of the purposes of UX is to increase convenience and experience when using a service. When applied to sustainability, this principle can be used to discover simple and effective ways to become more sustainable in our daily lives. If something is easy, convenient and pleasant to do, people are more likely to adopt it.
During the workshop, we would like to drive the participants to find suitable solutions through time-boxed exercises and make a practical difference with our daily jobs to one of the biggest problems of our time.
